At Gong Liao Health Center on the East Coast, one hour (65 km) away from New Taipei City: Learning about the role of the Health Center such as community primary health care, clinical activities, and 24 hour emergency medical service. 2 doctors, 2 nurses and 1 pharmacist are in charge of 13,758 people’s health; caring system for elders is not yet established, so that adherents of Buddhism support the Health Center by visiting elders’ houses |

In Front of the Gang Liao Health Center with an Emergency Doctor (Surgeon) In the swimming season, many people visit the community; in case of accident and the many injured, the health center staff practices medical triage and CPR. The Center also implements cancer screening and resident screening for prevention and early recognition of diseases. |
